ALSO IT IS FOR THE WINDOWS 95 PLATFORM ONLY.DO NOT APPLY THIS PATCH ON NT. MAKE SURE THAT YOU REBOOT AFTER YOU INSTALL THIS PATCH. This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file (10491201.exe). It must be installed from Windows. It installs the new file(s) and backs up the original files . The backup files are saved as .BFP files.The README.TXT is kept in the patch directory(c:\Program files\solstice\10491201). To install, download 10491201.exe to a temporary directory on the PC. In Windows, select "Run" from the "Start" menu. Enter the path and patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10491201) then select "OK". The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically. Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation. To remove the patch and restore the old files click on uninstallShield in the patch folder. Release Notes: If your site uses UDH keys, you will need to generate and exchange new UDH keys after you install this software patch. To generate a new UDH key: 1. Log into the PC-SKIP Key Manager. 2. Open the Network Control Panel. 3. Open the Properties panel for the SKIP network service. 4. Click the Private Key tab. 5. Click Create. 6. Enter a description of the key you are adding in the Description text box. 7. Move your mouse around the screen until the Random Bits Needed counter reaches 0. 8. When the Random Bits Needed counter reaches 0, click OK to close the Create Private Key dialog box. 9. Click OK to save your changes and close the Properties panel.
