Bugid: 1062639 Problem Description: Start 2 sessions using Advanced Telnets r2.exe. Switch between 2 seesions using alt-n. The screens are not restored in the exact state in which the sessions were exited. A screen state saver is required. INSTALL: The patch requires 2 new files: adv-tel.exe and tms. The new adv-tel.exe replaces version 1.0. Tms is a command language file. Copy both files into the adv-telnet directory. Set the DOS enironment variable to point to the location of the tms command file. eg: SET TMS=c:\adv-tel. Start adv-tel.exe using the /Z switch and any other appropriate switches. eg: adv-tel /Z /S2. Screen states will be saved in a disk file (tm1.sav) and restored properly. Bugid: 1058740 Problem Description: Customer has an IBM PS/2 Model 30 PC with an IBM monochrome monitor attached to the built-in MCGA adapter. When he tries to install Advanced Telnet, he can NOT see any of the menus or prompts for the setup program Installation is as follows: Setup35.exe should be used if the Advance Telnet program is being run from 3 1/2 inch diskettes. Setup525.exe should be used if the Advance Telnet setup is being run from 5 1/4 inch diskettes. Rename: setup35.exe or setup525.exe to setup.exe. Copy this new setup.exe to the Advance Telnet installation diskette labeled 1 of 6. Run the setup program per the Advance Telent instructions.
