Short: Persian Date replacement (Solar Hejri Date) Author: Shirdash@www.dci.co.ir (Hossein Shirdashtzadeh) Uploader: Shirdash www dci co ir (Hossein Shirdashtzadeh) Type: util/time Architecture: m68k-amigaos In the name of God ------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is a Parsi replacement for AmigaDos Date command. I hope to be useful for all Iranian Amiga guys. Note: * You should be familiar with Persian letters and numbers. * It is a Shell software, i.e., shuold be run through DosShell. * It should run under OS 2+ and needs utility.library. Thanks goes to Dr. D. Asefi who helped me to have a good algorithm converting Christian dates to Solar ones. Let me know your notes on the matter, and best wishes. Hossein Shirdashtzadeh 1378 ------------------------------------------------------------------- How to install: ------------------ Easy! only copy the file "PDate" to your "C:" assign. Also you may rename it as "Date", but note that its command line parameters are different from those of the standard "Date" command of AmigaDos. Also you should have one of Vajegan fonts set for your shell or used by the software which uses Pdate. Some of these fonts exist in the archive. Note that "Vajegan_Trafic" is a Graphic Vajegan font. ------------------------------------------------------------------- How it works: ------------------ I think thats very easy to understand ;) to see options type: >Pdate ? where the switches are here (one or several of them are allowed): PARSI,G_VASF,DATE,DAY,TIME,DASH Type "Pdate PARSI" to get all thing in Persian. Type "Pdate G_VASF" to get the output matching Graphic Vajegan fonts map. Type "Pdate DATE" to get only date. Type "Pdate DAY" to get only day. Type "Pdate TIME" to get only time. Type "Pdate DASH" to change the "/" to "-" in date output. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright matters: ------------------ (c) 1999-2000, All rights reserved for Hossein Shirdashtzadeh. *** Please run it at your own RISK! *** You are free to spread this archive while the contents are intact and should not be sold or purchased by any one.
