 This release contains the following components:

  * Doc:
     - Documentation, including the JSB File Structure
       Reference.
  * Samples:
     - Complete examples. See notes below about the HelloCorba
       sample.
  * Netscape:
     - Additional sample components (netscape/peas)
     - Java utility classes (netscape/palomar). These
       classes are not redistributable and are included
       only to support the netscape/peas samples.
  * Acadia Software:
     - This tool is not included in the Unix version of the CDK

     - JavaScriptBeanBuilder:
       Run setup.exe in the Acadia subdirectory to install the
       JavaScriptBeanBuilder tool (for win32 only).

     - Once the tool is installed, the file open dialog box to
       navigate to the (CDK Install Directory)/samples/JSB to
       open a sample JSB file. The sample noted in the Acadia
       documentation is not included in this release.

     - See the readme.txt file in the acadia/docs directory for
       information regarding known issues for this release of
       the JavaScriptBeanBuilder.

 Additional Notes:

  * HelloCorba:
             This example uses an insecure version of CORBA. For
             more information, see "Configuring Web Naming" at the following URL:

http://developer.netscape.com/library/technote/components/corba/webnaming/webnaming.htm

  * Netscape:
     - peas: Source and class files for assembling sample .JSB and .JAR
             files. Batch files for automatically building installable
             components (.JAR) files are not currently fully functional.

     - palomar: Supporting classes; the source for these classes is not
             provided. These classes are here only to support building
             sample .JAR files in the /netscape/peas directory which
             depend on classes in the palomar hierarchy.

  * Doc:
     - JavaDoc links to documentation on classes not shipped with the CDK
             will come up as "not found".
