  Description:  implements a "strip" from which add-ons can grab screen space
        Notes:  Quidquid creates a horizontal strip attached to the bottom of
                the screen, from which add-on "modules" obtain a small amount
                of screen space for the purpose of displaying useful, clickable
                items like icons, popup menus, etc.  For example modules could
                be created for easy access to system preferences and settings.
